Windows - Add/Remove Programs

This is found in the control panel of windows computers. If you suspect your system is performing slowly open add/remove programs and browse the list of installed software on your computer. Click on any software that you don't use anymore and click remove.

This may not make your computer any faster but it is the first step to a clean system.

You can also use this technique to resolve some program errors. Browse your program list and and make sure you don't have duplicate software. eg, Both Nero and Easy CD Creator are CD burning applications. Remove the one you use the least.

Having trouble running the latest games and 3D applications on your computer?
